0Mike and Not Mike Reunion This Saturday Night at 10 PM EST on MyGNETRadio
Tune in THIS Saturday night @10pm EST as G-Net Radio and The ESCape present a special edition of the Mike and Not Mike show!
This is where it all started over 3 years ago, Mike (from The ESCape) teamed up with his long time friend (a.k.a “his boo”) Dustin as they discussed anything and everything from TV Shows to Chicken Wings to Al’s frosted lettuce.
This is also where Steve (from The ESCape) got his start as the Producer and Al (from The ESCape) made his first radio debut as a guest to talk about wrestling…boy we’ve come a long way.
Mike and Dustin plan to talk about songs and events from the Early 90’s (1990 – 1992) the only way they know how (not sure how to describe it…but you won’t want to miss it), take your song requests, calls and whatever else you may want. They will also unveil the “Hey Ma!” of the week….what is that? Who will it be? You will have to tune in to find out.
All this and more, this Saturday (3/28) beginning at 10pm EST at www.theescapeshow.com

0Episode 52 Preview: Interview With Will Brierly of Snowrunner Productions, Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix and more
Tomorrow will be a huge show for us, as we will have an interview with Will Brierly, arcade developer and designer of Snowrunner Productions upcoming project “Get Outta My Face”. If you have any questions you’d like us to ask Will, please email us or post a comment on our website. You can also ask any questions from our chat room tomorrow during the show. Here’s a brief description of the project:
Get Outta My Face is a new arcade game designed by Will Brierly. Featuring 50 levels of exciting gameplay, a beautiful musical score, challenging AI, and a compelling/silly storyline, this game not like anything you have ever played in the arcades.
The game is simple, you are a blue cube (named Blue) who is trying to find out why it is what it is and how it came into being. Throughout this process, malicious cubes try to end your life. The reason for this must also be answered, but in the meantime you must survive! You do this by running through levels, slamming through walls, hiding from enemies, and using your surroundings as shields. The game is easy to learn but extremely difficult to master.
In a world where games are built by giant teams, Get Outta My Face truly has a fresh feeling. For the most part, the game was created by just one person who sat in his house for months building the game from scratch, writing the music, programming the AI, creating the artwork, and more. This makes for a strange, fun, addictive, interesting, and innovative game.
Compete for high score, play to the end, or just try to survive, whatever you do you won’t forget this experience.
All this, plus Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix in our game review. Tune in tomorrow night at 8:00 PM right here on our website, and www.mygnetradio.com!

0Plan Ahead For The ESCape’s One Year Anniversary Show
Join us on 10/22/08 for a very special edition of The ESCape Show. We will be celebrating the one year anniversary of the show that caused the most controversy on Uberguilds Radio and now the most copied show in internet radio (you know who you are) on GPN Radio. Live for 3 hours, we’ll take your calls, play music you want to hear, PLUS a special edition of the Retro Review.
Also, for the next 2 shows leading in to our Anniversary Show, we will be giving away hints on what we will have planned to happen that night. Could there be a new OC commercial in store? Will Nerion finally pick up and give us an update on his Age of Conan 48 hour experience? Will Al finally sing Hannah Montana? Will Steve actually be there?
So come right back here on 10/22/08 at 8:00 PM (this will be a 3 hour special edition podcast, so be here on time!), join in on our chat room, and click the play button on the player on the right hand side of the page to listen in.
On a side note, don’t forget to subscribe to our podcasts on Itunes, and now on Podcast Alley!

No New ESCape This Wednesday
Hey guys… unfortunately this week there will be no new edition of The ESCape Show on Wednesday. Al is taking a much needed vacation, Steve is still recovering from his “Stevis’s Disease”. The ESCape Studio is also under a bit of “renovation” during this week as well, so that prevents Mike from doing a show himself. We will instead air a repeat edition of the show this week, and the chat room will still be active. We will be back in full force next week (9/3) as we start the month of September with Round 1 of Battle of the WoW Nerd Allstars!
0Episode 37 (Live Show) delayed till 8/14 @ 8:00 PM
Due to unforseen circumstances that happend on Orderly Chaos this past weekend, I’m forced to delay the show a day. There’s more to this situation than that, but stay tuned to the show for an explanation. Until then, here is a preview of what to expect for tomorrow:
- A Full Recap/Update on the Harmack situation that happend on Orderly Chaos this past week
- This week we will review two new Wii Ware releases, Major League Eating and Pong Toss (better and previously titled as “Beer Pong”)
- A Double Ass of the Week, heck this week we are stamping an entire protesting group
- We will be getting an exclusive update from UG, live at GENCON, with his date Kristen.
- An arcade/Atari classic is in our Retro Review this week
All this and more, tomorrow at 8:00 PM, right here on theescapeshow.com and GPN Radio.
0No ESCape Or Reel Review Tonight
Due to unforseen circumstances, neither The ESCape or Reel Review shows will be on the air tonight. We will try to make up the show sometime this week (possibly Thursday, July 24th) but keep checking back here on theescapeshow.com for more details.
0The ESCape LIVE This Wednesday Night
This weeks episode of The ESCape will be a completely live episode, and the EXPLOSIVE simulcast will kick off at 8 PM EST right here on GPN Radio.com AND Uberguilds Radio. We will have an official preview up on our site on Wednesday, but Al, Mike, and Steve will be live and in studio, and addressing a variety of topics including our exciting new co-venture of GPN Radio, and a new STOLEN segment from our show, Dear ESCape. Theres more to come, but you’ll have to tune in this Wednesday night…
Also don’t forget – The ESCape Rewind (repeats of previous episodes) is now on EVERYDAY at 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM on GPN Radio, so if you’ve missed any of our previous episodes, tune in and catch up!
