Located at www.gamernetworkradio.com and www.mygnetradio.com, G-NET Radio will be a central place where the gamer can go and discuss their favorite games, while enjoying their favorite song, preferred DJ, or available podcast. The user will also be able to interact with the site and discuss gaming in our integrated chat room, forums, or create their very own web blogs. New additional ways to interact with the site will be announced in time to come.

G-NET Radio has also partnered with new comic book publisher Mask and Cape Comics (http://www.maskandcape.com) in an advertising deal, in which G-Net Radio will be featured in the upcoming editions of their comic book as well as developing an upcoming podcast airing weekly on G-Net Radio for the comic. Mask and Cape Comics representative Mike Matta stated “It will be a pleasure working with G-Net Radio, with both sides prospering.”

G-NET Radio will launch out of beta on January 1, 2009 with an official launch party soon to follow. All of the other current GPN shows, such as Orderly Chaos, Azerothian Gamerz, The Reel Review, The Grenade, The Friday Night Rock Block, and others will follow to the new re-branded network. If you listened to Episode 36 live this past Wednesday, we announced on the show that theescapeshow.com pulled in a staggering number of 26,224 website hits during the course of July. This is very impressive since our normal end of month number usually ends up around 21,000 or so. We are on a roll for August as well – as so far, we have averaged almost 800 hits per day. Thank you again to all of our listeners and fans who check our website daily, and we’ll do our best to update the site with more content and as frequent as possible. The next thing I intend to do personally is try and fix a listener complaint on our site, as I will try to make it easier to listen live to GPN Radio directly from our website. You should hopefully see that fix in the next few upcoming days.

But we don’t want to stop there. Our next initiative is to branch out to even more “platforms” as well. As of today, our show can be heard (and is archived) on Blog Talk Radio. We are also on Mediafly, Podcast Alley, and we are working on a few more podcasting locations. Also – it has come to my attention that our RSS feed was coming incorrectly for our Itunes users. If you podcast us on Itunes (and there are many that do), I have fixed this, so do a refresh. If that does not work, re-subscribe to the feed on Itunes, and that should fix it.

Lastly, and the most important part, we have a new survey on theescapeshow.com, and it is the most important survey that we have posted to date. We need you, the listening audience, to take this survey to let us know how we are doing. The survey is completely anonymous, and helps us appeal our show better for the listeners and advertisers. I’ll be pretty busy this week as I’ll be updating the site quite frequently, so make sure you check back here on theescapeshow.com every day this week as each day there will be a pretty big update to the site.

This week we will be catching up on all of our podcasts that need to be archived, as well as some new content. After doing some statistical research, I found that most of our listeners are actually behind a few episodes, and I figured I’d give people an extra week to catch up. Although with the updates for this week I’ll probably be throwing some people in the back log again!

TheESCapeShow.com will also be (for now) the primary host of the Reel Review Show with Mike and Mike as well, so I will be adding their podcasts into the fold too. If you have not heard their show yet, and you enjoy movies, you will really enjoy this show.

Also continue to support our radio station as well, GPN Radio. This past week we launched a brand new show called “Club GPN”, hosted by DJ Harmack, this past Saturday night. It appeared to do rather well so tune in this Saturday night at 10:00 PM EST for more of the best in techno and dance music. GPN Radio is also now on myspace, (another work in progress), so friend us there and continue to tell your friends, guilds, neighbors, family, etc.
